• E.L.F. Studio Eyeshadow C Brush
• E.L.F. Studio Contour Brush
• MUA Liquid Eyeliner Shade 3
• MUA Mascara Shade 4
• NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in French Fries

Step 1: Apply Primer all over the lid
Step 2: Pat on the golden shade all over the lid using a flat shader brush
Step 3: Add the pink shade to the middle of the lid if you wish to tone down the glitteriness of the golden shade
Step 4: Blend in the taupe shade to the crease using a blending brush
Step 5: Wing out the taupe shade and then drag a little on to the lower lash line
Step 6: Use the MUA Liquid Liner to line the upper lash line
Step 7: Use the NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil on the waterline
Step 8: Apply Mascara

 

The golden shade lets the quad down.  It is very powerdy, the glitter fall out is annoying and difficult to clear up without using something harsh like celotape.  There is little to no pigmentation on the lids.  However, the pink and taupe shades are much better in comparison to the aweful golden shade.

3. Ivy

I was really inspired by the name of this quad.  I immediately thought of Poison Ivy from Batman.

With Superheroes in mind, I decided to create a mask, one which only covers they eyes and incorporates leaves, this is what I came up with during my makeup play:

To create this bit of fun you will need:

The e.l.f. brightening eye colour quad in Ivy

A primer; I used e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer

A waxy pencil as a colour base; I used NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Horse Raddish (not pictured)

Brushes; I used e.l.f. Studio Eyeshadow C Brush, e.l.f. Studio Small Angled Brush, e.l.f. Studio Small Precision Brush

A Mascara; I used e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara

Step 1. Prime eye lid, under eye and cheek
Step 2. Cover Lid and under eye with the colour base of your choice
Step 3. Draw the outline of 3 leaves, one on top of the other and fill in with the colour base
Step 4. Place the lightest green eyeshadow over the colour base using a flat eyeshadow brush to pack on the colour
Step 5. Line the eyes with the darkest brown shade.
Step 6. Create a long and extended wing using the darkest green shade and an angled brush. Use this as the steam of the first leaf.
Step 7. Using the same colour and brush create veins leading off from the main stem.
Step 8. From the middle of the lower lash line, extend another line down and across the center of the second/middle leaf.
Step 9. Again draw veins leading off from this central stem.
Step 10. From the inner corner of the lower lash line, run another line across and down the center of the 3rd/bottom leaf shape you have drawn remembering to give it veins as well.
Step 11. Accent the main stem of each leaf with the brown you used to line your eyes.
Step 12. Over the lid the colour base and palest green shadow should be a little way up and over the crease.
Step 13. From the inner corner, curving along the natural shape of your lid (see pictures) create a line, again using the darkest green and an angled brush.
Step 14. Create another line starting from the middle of your upper lash line curving in the opposite direction.
Step 15. Draw tiny veins off of these lines (this is very fiddly, take your time, try not to make these lines too thick)
Step 16. Apply Mascara

• E.L.F. All Over Color Stick in Spotlight
• E.L.F. Brightening Eye Colour Quad in Quad in Brownstone
• E.L.F. Studio Eye Shadow C Brush
• E.L.F. Studio Contour Brush
• E.L.F. Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in Gunmetal
• E.L.F. Studio Small Angled Brush
• E.L.F. Brightening Eye Liner in Gilded
• E.L.F. Mineral Infused Mascara

Step 1: Use your fingers to apply the All Over Colour Stick in Spotlight as a Primer

Step 2: Pat the flesh toned shadow all over the lid using the Studio Eye shadow C Brush (be careful this shadow is very powdery and gets everywhere)
Step 3: Blend the brown shadow into the crease using the Studio Contour Brush
Step 4: Use darker brown shadow (colour number 3 in the quad) to intensify the 1st colour (be careful it is far too easy to buff these colours away)
Step 5: Line your eyes with the Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in Gunmetal
Step 6: Set the pencil liner with the flesh toned shadow using the Studio Small Angled Brush
Step 7: Line the lower lash line with the Brightening Eye Liner in Gilded and set again with the flesh toned colour using the Studio Small Angled Brush
Step 8: Apply Mascara

I would not recommend this quad, the quality of the shadows is far too powdery, this look lasted barely an hour on me

Step 1: Use your fingers to apply the All Over Colour Stick in Spotlight as a Primer

Step 2: Pat the light blue shadow all over the lid using the Studio Eye shadow C Brush
Step 3: Blend the brown shadow into the crease using the Studio Contour Brush
Step 4: Use the flesh toned colour to bend out any harsh lines and as a highlight on the brow bone
Step 5: Line the upper and lower lash line with the Brightening Eye Liner in Midnight
Step 6: Set the pencil liner with the dark blue eye shadow using the Studio Small Angled Brush
Step 7: Apply mascara
